I have used a wide variety of flashlights for different purposes, but one that really caught my attention is the Fenix PD35 TAC tactical flashlight.
It is undeniable that there are several reputable brands in the market and choosing a reliable one can be quite overwhelming.

Edison Bright is a reputable firm renowned for producing some of the top tactical flashlights over the years. This flashlight was introduced in 2013, and the reception was overwhelming. The PD35 TAC is an improvement over its old predecessor. It is a pocket-sized device, with comparisons making it one of the smallest among its peers. It is designed using the new LED lighting technique making very useful in illuminating dark places.

This flashlight is produced using aircraft grade aluminum and Premium Type 3 metal making it resistant to corrosion and shock. The lens is made using reinforced clear glass that is coated using the antireflective material. The materials used to make this flashlight significantly increase its lifespan.
Two Battery Design
The flashlight is designed in such a way that you could use a one-piece lithium-ion battery, which is rechargeable or two 3V lithium batteries.
Strong Beam Power
I found this flashlight to be particularly impressive in harsh environments where its beam spanned up to 656 feet. Its LED discharges about 1000 Lumens of power with a lifespan of about 50,000 hours.
Stainless Steel Side Switch
Apart from the tail switch, the flashlight has a side switch for selecting the Outdoor Mode system.
This feature allows you to know the last output mode used on the flashlight. It automatically reinstates the activities last used by a user before the flashlight was turned off.
Light and Waterproof
The torch weights 4 ounces and measures 5.4 inches long. Its diameter is only an inch, something that makes it very small and portable.
It is waterproof and can be immersed in up to six and a half feet deep of water for up to half an hour.
The parts are sealed using impermeable material which keeps dust and dirt out of the system.

Speaking from my first-hand experience with this flashlight, I would comfortably recommend it all day. It costs around $70 on Amazon, and the features at stake make it worth your money. I have used it for a long time, and it has been through some of the harshest conditions, some that even leave me thinking why it still functions perfectly well up to date.
It has its fair share of disadvantages, but the features and benefits overshadow these flaws in some way.
